To be honest, I never even expect to meet Jesse on this trip, even not quite sure where he’s based lol. Running into him at Danny’s private screening is just serendipity! Among all creators I follow, Jesse is one of the people I look up to and am inspired by the most. His wild creativity and the pursuit of one video, one scene, and even a single shot are precious in this fast-changing era. The vision and scale of Evil Empire are just too good to be true, still can’t imagine walking in this actual place and seeing the world premiere of the making process episode 4 lol! Jesse Diftwood 絕對是我前三愛的YouTuber，雖然產量不算多，但每支影片都看得出來用花了超多心力和時間（真的是會為了一顆鏡頭拍一整天，甚至一整個禮拜的那種），單就影像視覺的創意層面可能是我覺得的第一名！ 這個空間/工作室叫做Evil Empire（邪惡帝國），是一個應該有300-400坪的倉庫，他們自己拖了幾個貨櫃進來當個人工作室，然後保留空間的原始樣貌當作電影片場。Peter McKinnon在這裡拍過DJI RS2的廣告，也有真的好萊塢電影、影集在這邊取景過。未來會把前面的空地變成類似咖啡廳的交流場所，讓創作者可以隨時來交流、討論、學習。這趟北美行除了Peter的工作室之外，我最想來的地方就是這裡。但我在網路上完全找不到Jesse的地址，我甚至不知道他是美國人還是加拿大人。 前天晚上在Danny（第一位拍攝電影長片的YouTuber）的private screening上遇到他，聊了幾句後很不要臉地說希望能去參觀，然後事情就這樣發生了。 我們在他工作室一起看他剪到一半的，打造這個空間的系列影片。他帶我們參觀整個空間、分享這個建築的歷史和願景，甚至帶我們去從沒釋出在影片上的神奇空間。聊創作、聊相機（btw他非常喜歡這次我帶來的ZV-E1，不客氣索尼😉），就像久沒碰面的朋友一樣hangout。這大概就是從我開始看YouTube，到開始拍YouTube的初衷了。這趟旅行才第三天，已經給了我太多。 如果你上過我的課，而你還沒開始好好學英文的話，你看你錯過了多少ㄏ（請 @tutorabc.tw 找我業配謝謝 video shot on @sonytaiwan #ZVE1 #sony2070g photo shot on @fujifilm_taiwan #X100V #XE4
