Jennette McCurdy's memoir, I'm Glad My Mom Died, is out in a few days — and excerpts show the reality of her time as a child star with Nickelodeon. However, at Nickelodeon, things were far from perfect. After iCarly, Jennette was then promised a spinoff, which ended up being Sam & Cat with Ariana Grande — not exactly the solo show she'd expected.
