‘Menu’ Silk screen printed wallpaper made for my installation for the exhibition ‘MAD MAD MAD’ at @glholtegaard The wallpaper is a checkerboard grid in brown and white, with drawings from me and @yung_swenne ‘s book, renderings of scenes in film, food performances plus food and body related motives from my own pond of works and drawings. The installation is inspired by checkered kitchen floors, Yayoi Kusamas wallpaper, bauhaus wallpapers and Andy Warhols cow wallpaper. One wallpaper consist of 4 different 99x70 prints, 25 drawings on each print, so 100 different drawings in all. The prints following each others checkerboard grid. The beautiful photos are by @david_stjernholm ‘Menu’ is printed for the museum, an art fair and a gallery bathroom and in an official edition of 8 complete sets of wallpapers available at @alicefolkergallery The exhibition is up until February 2023.
