It’s been a while since we got to celebrate the last of our hallowed New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day Cruise & Playground parties – but we’ll just go crazier this year, after a two year pandemic break. Blitz is about community and not about (super-)stardom and so we’ve invited our best friends for a truly memorable evening – no megalomaniac experiments, but nothing but good vibes, community and music, all the way on New Year’s Eve & all day New Year’s Day. Expect banging sets from cherished companions from near and afar, and a few very special back to back sets that will carry you through nearly 24 hours of dancing. We won’t give away too many secrets, but we’ll be opening a third floor for this year’s celebration too! 2022 was an extraordinary year for us in many ways: as much as it marked the return to normal for Blitz, it was a year marked by tremendous global crisis and violence, which (directly or indirectly) all of us have to face, whether it’s in Colorado, Brasil, Kiew, Munich, Pakistan, Shanghai to name – sadly but true – only a few... We firmly believe that > LOVE IS THE MESSAGE < and > MUSIC IS THE ANSWER < still stays true and that while even the best parties of course won’t stop wars in a second, we believe they bring people together and sew important seeds of cultural and social understanding: that’s why there’s no stopping us in 2023! We had a phenomenal year at Blitz after two years of pandemic and want to thank all visitors, guests, artists, agencies and partners for making this a very special year in the history of our club.
