I’m a sucker for the tiny details of love. The ones so easily overlooked. “If you’re faithful with the little things... you’ll be faithful in the large ones...” Those are the moments you see someone’s heart. The gestures that are oh so tiny, but oh so sincere. For Christmas I got my husband an Apple Watch. I love to buy him gifts, but I hadn’t anticipated it being a way he would show me how precious his love for us was. I quietly observed his genuine excitement to create a whole folder of all his favorite images of me and the girls to show up as his watch screensaver. The next day after setting everything up, he had the biggest smile as he showed me how each photo cycled through. Every photo so purposefully chosen. Memories that meant a lot to him. Not just photos of the girls and us all together, but photos HE loved of me by myself (even if I didn’t).
