Jardin de l’hôpital en Arles 🌼 famously, where Van Gogh recovered from cutting off his ear... also the scene from one of his most famous paintings, which the NYBG (last slide) actually recreated in the most extravagant fashion for their Van Gogh’s Flowers exhibition this year (still up! until oct?) Feeling very lucky that this year has permitted me to see both & that my (fairly new) interest in art took me to this courtyard.
