My chemo “off week” coincided with a long planned trip to Germany for the funnest adventure to Europa Park. I grew up in Germany and did not know this place existed but thanks to two theme park and adventure loving god sons we made the discovery and then the trip (one of those sweet sweet fuck-it moments). And as such my first chemo off week on my new chemo involved comedy coffins that made me very happy, many lols with the funnest holiday crew, many regrets (see rollercoaster photo), spaghetti eis, gradual hair loss and witnessing Herbies many new firsts (including flying and a Stutenkerl) and his endless boundless genuine joy. I need the longest lie down ever but it was so so worth it.
