Wow. All I can say is that Lucy, you are a powerhouse in organising this idea into fruition. What a great get together of minds for our first ever “My Seat at the Bar” event at @flowerhousepub where we shared stories about inclusion, fairness and equality in hospitality. I wasn't sure what the event would feel like but I now know that we are growing a community of likeminded people with shared experiences within the hospitality industry and that feels exciting! We're creating a support network and safe-space to express our challenges in still a very much patriarchal society whilst not discriminating against gender, merely discussing our rights to be here as equals in the working world.
