Back home... from our trip to the majestic mountains of the Garhwal Himalaya. The luck of having adequate weather with reasonable conditions on the East Face of Meru was not on our side. Too much snow made it impossible to reach even the base of the wall at reasonable risk. After more than a month in basecamp @thomas_huberbuam, @mccreaphoto and I left the mountains without climbing a single meter. Still it was a memorable journey through highs and lows, some abysses as well as real highlights...
