Been (humourously) chastised by one friend already for writing about corsets for this weekend’s @fthtsi Proof that even at over 500 years old they never stop being controversial. But in a world where women are still killed for their clothing choices, their hair, their self-expression, their existence, these things are far from trivial and understandably can be triggering for all sorts of reasons. Right now, in awe of the brave women in Iran and feeling thankful for the freedom I have to wear a corset or not. 🙏
