Feels like I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life but your girl finally has her white coat 👩🏾‍⚕️✨ Even though I’m almost done with my first year of medical school it didn’t really feel real until I got my white coat. Since I was a little girl all I’ve wanted to be was a doctor and to know that I’m on my way brings me so much joy. It hasn’t been easy and it’ll only get harder but that isn’t going to stop me. I know that my calling in life is to be not only a doctor but an educator, advocator, and do my part to making health care accessible to those most at risk. Too many people die everyday from health complications that can be avoided with proper access and care.
