I assumed that trying to balance grad school and a toddler with Kona prep would be chaotic and stressful. What I didn’t anticipate was this would actually be one of the most joyful race preps that I’ve ever done. What I’ve lacked in downtime, I’ve more than made up for with deep gratification and excitement for training sessions. Thank you for going along on this journey with me @danlorang. One of the signs of a great coach is someone who can work within an athlete’s constraints and still leave them empowered.
