Had the privilege of bringing our 15 year old, Maxine, to volunteer at the Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma Festival and 5K. I was about her age when I started volunteering. It changed something in me. It shifted my focus from myself to others and I enjoyed giving without the expectation of anything in return. Today, I saw Maxine express leadership, care, and joy from being of service. Beyond grateful we could share this together. ❤️ #DSACO
