You are invited to Syros Island for the presentation of the "Weavers and Their Memories" program, funded by Cycladic Identity and implemented by @hermoupolis_heritage This program highlights the vital work carried out by textile workers and preserves their memories, offering a deeper understanding of the island’s local history and identity. During the event, you will explore the history, tradition, and art of weaving through archival material and oral testimonies of workers. Speeches will be given by representatives from the @cycladic_museum the Municipality of Syros @dimossyrouermoupolis and the Museum of Textile Industry.
