Honoring the last day of AANHPI month we’ve asked cast member Angelo Soriano to explain what being Filipino means to him: “As a native of the Philippines, representing my Filipino roots on a Broadway stage means providing significant proof that someone like me, who grew up at the opposite side of the world can extend their potential and range to such a prestigious level. It’s an honor to show an audience that an artist with my likeness and voice can be represented in such a beautiful show full of diversity, representation and pride. It’s my duty to continue promoting that message.”
