SHRIMP BOWL• -these never have to be anything serious or fancy. Grab your canned goods, grab veggies from the fridge + a simple bowl can be made in no time! To continue and change it up, create a new sauce each time! It never fails HERE IS WHAT I DID: -frozen shrimp from @traderjoes -create a seasoning mix: 1 TBSP onion powder + garlic powder, 1 tsp black pepper, ground cumin, paprika, and sugar. Mix and set aside. You’ll use half of this for seasoning the shrimp and the remainder half for the dressing. -season shrimp and cook in a hot pan until both sides are golden. Set aside -if using corn + beans, begin to char them in the same pan individually, set aside -use anything fresh on hand (tomato + onion salad, avocados, lime wedges, bell peppers, etc) -DRESSING: -olive oil, juice of 2 lemons, sprinkle of black pepper, fresh cilantro, and the remainder of seasoning mix. Mix. -either over a bed of rice OR salad: Top with shrimp, beans, corn, tomato + onion salad, avocado, + limes.
