When they relocated to LA from New York City, fashion entrepreneur Laure Heriard Dubreuil, founder of @thewebster, and her husband, artist Aaron Young, spent three years searching for an inspiring family home there. It was the view from the sweeping midcentury modern beauty they eventually discovered that “sealed the deal,” says @artistaaronyoung. “The entire city - from Long Beach to downtown - lights up for us every single night.” It’s a spectacular setting for the couple’s impressive art and design collection, all placed among an abundance of lush plants. “It’s our own tropical bird’s nest,” says @lhd. Interior plant horticulturist Zilah Drahn (@zilahdrahn of @plantsandspaces) masterminded the sculptural plantscape at the suggestion of interior designer Katrina Caso (@katrinacaso) whose vision was a “domestic nature walk” to ground the art and furniture in the indoor-outdoor California lifestyle and to unite the various spaces within the sprawling residence.
