It’s not going to do much! ✅ Instead, massage and compress high up on your breast. The milk sacks are housed in the breast tissue, so you want to apply pressure behind the areola to pull the milk to your nipple. Follow this movement pattern: • Press • Compress • Release • Repeat! And remember to always be gentle with your breast tissue An easy way to think about this is to press only as firmly as you would press on your baby.
