I wanted to share with you an intimate moment from my studio. I was trying to make a reaction video for social media content (sigh) of myself watching the final music video cut of Kashmir, a project that took me almost 5 years to complete because I wanted to, no..needed to do it right. Here I am..sobbing because this is the first time I watched the full piece after placing the graded footage back into the edit. It was in that moment I knew that Kashmir was finally complete. All the time and energy, the love and pain, the belief and the uncertainty..all of it led to this moment..a final piece born out of powerful emotions. I write this today while I work on new music. I go from feeling high from what I’m creating, to the depths of despair at not being able to complete and close projects. My art take everything from me. And I give my all.
