time well spent @fordhamuniversity 🤍 four years ago I committed to @americanuniversity (my dream school) + and soon after realized my heart was in nyc. I remember being so disappointed with myself with making the “wrong” college decision. especially since I spent months on-end perfecting my applications to ensure i navigated to college decision process “perfectly”. transparently, college being “the best 4 years” of my life never resonated with me, yet I wanted it to so badly. for anyone that feels like their experiences aren’t living up to what they should be — you are exactly where you need to be. as someone who had the antithesis of the typical college experience (city school, transferring, getting robbed, and totaling my car rip lol). I would not change a single moment of my experience. the people I met along the way have become my traveling partners for life and the nights I spent alone navigating transferring to a new school were instead spent learning who I am + my passion for telling stories online. i’m still bittersweet and nothing has processed but I’m so grateful for this chapter + even more excited for what’s ahead 🤍
