🌊 Celebrating the program “The weavers and their memories” of Syros island was an event to remember! At the Hermoupolis Textile Museum (formerly the Zisimatos Textile Factory) we journeyed with them through their memories and honored the legacy of these women who shaped the island’s industrial and cultural identity together with friends, locals, and visitors.   The program was funded by Cycladic Identity and implemented by @hermoupolis_heritage   Sandra Marinopoulou @sandracycladic President and CEO of the @cycladic_museum and Ioannis Voutsinos, Deputy Mayor of Tourism @dimossyrouermoupolis reminded us why heritage matters.   Dimitris Stavrakopoulos, Founder of @hermoupolis_heritage presented the video created from testimonies of 10 former female workers. Η εκδήλωση παρουσίασε το πρόγραμμα «Οι Υφάντρες και οι Αναμνήσεις τους», που χρηματοδοτείται από το Cycladic Identity και υλοποιείται από το @hermoupolis_heritage Η Σάντρα Μαρινοπούλου, Πρόεδρος και Διευθύνουσα Σύμβουλος του @cycladic_museum και ο Ιωάννης Βουτσίνος, Αντιδήμαρχος Τουρισμού, τόνισαν γιατί η κληρονομιά είναι σημαντική. Ο Δημήτρης Σταυρακόπουλος, ιδρυτής του @hermoupolis_heritage παρουσίασε βίντεο που βασίστηκε στις μαρτυρίες πρώην εργατριών. Η Μαρία Ρούσσου, πρώην υφάντρα, και ο Αντώνης Βαμβακάρης, πρώην μηχανικός του εργοστασίου, μοιράστηκαν προσωπικές ιστορίες.
