Goooood afternoon!!!! 🤘🥰🤘⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ▪️🏷️🧢 this past week saw the release of the first official “An Ethereal Fire - Hooded Sweatshirt”, along with five print releases!!! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Today I would like to highlight this in particular, and share some words about what it means to me!!! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ▪️⚔️🔥 When I was in high-school, I always wanted a hoodie with a metal logo on it. As a homeschooled child, there was something about the simultaneous chaos, and intricate patterns that appealed to me. It felt strong, and mysterious, and I wanted to be a part of it, but my parents wouldn't allow it.⁣ ⁣ Over the years, death metal (and many other metal subgenres) has become a genre I live and breathe as I create art. It inspires me, allows for me to experience intense emotion, and helps me to feel free and expressive. ⁣ ⁣ So when it came time to design a logo, I tracked down a death metal logo artist who had worked with a band I listened to and commissioned both a logo, and a rune which I now hide in every artwork. ⁣ ⁣ This hooded sweatshirt is both an expression of the artist I have become, and a tribute to my younger self, who never got the chance to freely be themselves.
