LET GIRLS LEARN! ✍🏾🌍📍. I am am so heartbroken to hear about the ban on university education for Afghan women that has occurred this week. It has been reported that they are not allowed to enter university grounds, especially not classrooms and that all female teachers have also been dismissed. And that the women who are standing against this in any form of protest are currently been punished, beaten and made examples of. It’s also been noted that punishment is been issued for the men who are standing in solidarity with their female peers. More alarmingly, it’s reported that before this month ends there may be a total ban on education for all girls and women including primary and secondary! (Secondary school has already been suspended for over a year) This is all absolutely heartbreaking and unacceptable. - i stand with all girls and women around the world in their pursuit of education as it’s their right. - I am hoping that there is a resolution moving forward to solve this International crisis. #afghanistan #girlseducation
