Who else loves @nichebeautylab @transparent_lab?✨ The Oil Patrol Serum is my HOLY GRAIL, so be sure to check out my review from a few weeks ago! I love the idea of Transparent Labs and how the ingredients are the central focus. Their website is incredibly consumer-friendly and all information about the product is so accessible from key ingredients, directions, skin types/concerns, ph level, and more! 🫧 Oil Based Cleanser ($26 CAD, 200ml) What an amazing cleanser! Sometimes when I’m too lazy to reach for a cleansing balm, I use this instead. After a full face of makeup, this leaves me feeling squeaky clean! It leaves absolutely no greasy residue or film on the skin, and my face doesn’t feel dried out either. On the website, it states that it’s suitable for all skin types and I agree. This is a super gentle yet effective fragrance-free and oil-free formula! Plus, it features 3% Squalane, 2% Abyssinian Oil, and 1% Vitamin E for free-radical fighting properties 💪 The texture itself is super viscous, coming out of the pump almost like water 💦 On the skin, it feels slippery and surprisingly, this foams! Usually cleansing oils don’t, so it caught me by surprise. My only critique is that the packaging, although gorgeous, is impractical. The pump is extremely short and close to the bottle, so when you pump out the product is runs down the side of the bottle because there’s not enough room under the pump to collect it with your hand. 🤍 Adult Acne Treatment ($22 CAD, 30ml) This is the largest spot treatment tube I’ve ever seen! It contains many acne-combatting ingredients like 5% Encapsulated Salicylic Acid and 3% Encapsulated Zinc PCA. This nighttime treatment has a gel-like consistency and absorbs nicely into the skin. Whenever I have a pimple that isn’t exactly “ripe” yet, I use this on it the night before and it brings the pimple up to the top of the skin. I then use a patch on it during the day!
