Goodfight x Angela Anh Nguyen Exhibit & Collaboration Pop-Up Weekend 9/23-9/25 ~ This week we are so excited to share a project that we’ve been working on since the new year: Angela Anh Nguyen @pile_height is a self-taught textile artist—but to say she is a tufter might belie the immensity of her work, not just in scale or style but what can only be described as sheer impact. A first generation American and child of Vietnamese immigrants in Los Angeles, her work wrestles with archetypes in American society from a working-class perspective, be it playful, satirical, or severe. Coming off her shows at the @dallasartfair and @thearmoryshow in New York, we will be exhibiting a very special piece she tufted based on a discourse with with Goodfight designer Calvin Nguyen, along with a capsule collection inspired by the collaboration.
