Yesterday i was surprised to see this Little Egret perched up on a tree after i had finished photographing the stags! He was a little far up for the 500mm so i put a 2x teleconverter on! Making the lens 1000mm! I was really hoping he'd turn around for a better composition but this is the best i got 🙃 Maybe he was just a little camera shy 🤗 He also preened for quite a while, i was really hoping a feather would fall as i doubt ill ever find one! But sadly that didn't happen either 😕
