Featured: M990GL6 @newbalancelifestyle @newbalance When I first saw pics of the V6 online, I wasn’t completely sold on them. My initial thought was - I like them more than the V5 because of the chunkier midsole but was going to hold anymore judgement until I got them in hand. I was definitely not going to pass on these with them being the first V6 to release and plus they are in that classic grey colorway so it was a no brainer for me. Now after having them, I really like them a lot. I think they look great in hand and on feet. The chunkier midsole was a great choice and gives them more of a lifestyle kind of look. My favorite model is the 992 because of the chunkier silhouette and these are KIND OF reminiscent of that. I love the look of the tongue on these. I think there is a decent balance between suede, nubuck, mesh, and 3M. When it comes to comfort, they are very lightweight and comfortable. I will say the V3/V4 are probably even more comfortable but it’s very close. I would recommend going with your normal MiUSA or 990 size with these which would be a 0.5 size down.
