For Laura & Moriah, their road to love has been challenging. Early in their relationship, there was an assault, and it led to Moriah being homeless. After putting in everything they had to rebuild what was lost, Laura was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that has meant their path is now navigating life with a new disability. ⁠ ⁠ "This kind of struggle was never in the realm of possibility for either of us. ⁠ ⁠ We’re both lawyers’ kids and never knew financial hardship before this. ⁠ ⁠ Moriah lost all forms of security – financial, housing, and her entire family – all in one day.
