Great night coming up this Wednesday at @atlanticbkln ! We have done this piece a couple times, but this will be the first time in NY with a live audience. We will play Bill Ware’s very cool music/vision and live score the first feature length animated film ever (from 1926!) (the film is dope). Wonderful band (@warebill @sam.bardfeld @thedaythatis @beatwallah ). And it’s a great mix of jazz and grooves, reading and improvising, and I get to pull out my gimbri and bass!
