Raise your hand if used a deficit but didn’t actually use it 🙋🏽‍♀️. Save if you want some tips on a great exercise for glutes 🍑 I love a good reverse lunge, but adding something to elevate that front (like a plate/platform/stepper/etc) just hits that cheek a little more 😮‍💨🤌🏽. it’s a GREAT move for glutes because stepping back + adding extra range helps put more demand on the glutes. But you have to go deeper than what you’re standing on to benefit from using the deficit. 💥MAKE SURE YOU USE THE DEFICIT💥 tips/cues: •master regular reverse lunges FIRST, adding the deficit is a progression. •don’t take a dramatic step back, think of keeping front knee at 90 degrees •lean forward for more glute focus, stay upright (and let your knee bend a little more) for more quad focus •let that knee STILL tap the floor I hope this was helpful!!
