The talented landscape architect Thomas Woltz of @nelsonbyrdwoltz is new to the @elledecor A-List in 2022, but his studio’s work—one part ecology, one part urban planning—has for years had a towering influence on the built environment in the U.S. Woltz’s Queen Anne and lush gardens in Virginia, seen in our Summer issue, act as testing grounds of sorts for the ideas that surface in the firm’s public work.
