I remember anticipating the delivery of my Vogue subscriptions from abroad every month. Upon arrival, I would savor its unboxing, even enjoying the smell of print on paper as I slowly turned every page! Back then (more than 3 decades ago to be specific), I was already dreaming of a Philippine version of this much loved magazine. So, it was definitely a thrill to attend last night’s @voguephilippines launch! It was a beautiful night of fashion and style highlighted by a maze of life sized photographs and videos on translucent screens that led to the reveal of the cover of the maiden issue. There was much talk about who would be on the cover! I was thrilled to see half-Filipino half-American model @chlomagno dressed in a @rajolaurel (who also dressed me for the evening and was my handsome date! I’m so proud of you, my love) and photographed in the islands of our beloved country. Congratulations are in order for this iconic launch.
