For most of us, rental apartments come with the most dreary of accouterments: poor lighting, a generic paint job, and don’t even get us started on the terrible kitchen tiles! When designer Lindsay Stall Falconer (@lindsaysfalconer) and her husband encountered this Greenwich Village beauty, however, they discovered it had been freshly painted and came with a Venetian chandelier, a large pier mirror, and this antique grandfather clock. The pair snapped the townhouse up and Lindsay went about adding her own chic additions, including this entryway vignette with a console cloaked in mustard and checkerboard-patterned tablecloths.
