“What’s important to you on your wedding day?” This is a question I ask my couples - what are your priorities? What do you care about most, and what really doesn’t matter to you? There’s always talk of niching down in the wedding industry, and I’ve realized recently that the location and type of wedding or shoot, makes no difference to me. Do I like pretty things? Absolutely! But for me, it’s about working with couples that care just as much as I do. So what’s important to you is important to you. Maybe it’s the details you’ve spent months and maybe years carefully thinking about and selecting, and so I’ll work time into your timeline to carefully capture these. Maybe it’s getting ready photos with your crew, so you choose a cool hotel room or gorgeous AirBnB. Maybe it’s candid photos of your guests who haven’t seen each other in ages and you just want to rock out on the dance floor. And maybe it’s all of the above. I loved getting to know Gillian + Clark from booking, to our engagement session, to seeing how much care they put into both details of the day and the people that surrounded them that day, and vice versa (including me! Love you guys!)
