What a way to celebrate #solstice! Beautiful day at Langley Vale with @woodlandtrust honouring the work they have done #treeplanting, #rewilding and commemorating the brave fallen of WW1. The first shot here is of the wonderful @tree_listening project. There is no sound more beautiful in my opinion, like listening to it breathing. The woodland has come on so much since we planted our centenary trees in 2019. Butterfly’s everywhere, and even self seeded pyramid orchids. Honoured to have met HRH Princess Anne, our wonderful patron. Proud of @sally_hodgkiss who sang so beautifully today. Shed numerous tears on hearing the last post and the minutes silence after, accompanied by birdsong and bees humming. The @woodlandtrust does so much to preserve our ancient woodlands and grow new where land has been ravaged by humans. If you are interested at all to help #standwithtrees do consider joining.
