I was lucky to find the last VW Jetta TDI Wagon available in the western US, at that time. The license plate included the letters "VSL" so the car was dubbed "Viesel" (no relation to Vin Diesel). It was an incredibly reliable car that served me well for 17 years. Several memorable road trips, transport for my two dogs to the park and trails, and a workhorse cargo carrier when I had my own small business. While Utah winters are cold enough to prevent the effective use of biodiesel year-round, I was able to fill it with B100 eight or nine months out of the year.
