I met Taina “Ty” Nieves on November 22, 2013 in North Hollywood, CA at a photo shoot for @raphael_saadiq and from that day, she’s never been out of my thoughts or my life.⁣⁣ That overwhelming excited feeling was something that I had not really experienced before and while it scared me, I was going with it. We texted for 2 weeks about work then started talking after our work days were done and I had this feeling that I knew her already. She's smart, super chill, extremely funny and she just got me. Like, she really got me and that was very cool to me because I’m a nerd. I’m fun, driven, cool as a fan, but still a nerd. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ She understood my constant work and travel schedule and always checked on me to make sure I had eaten and I was good regardless of all that she had to handle with her work and clients. She still does that to this day. She’s never attempted to change anything about what I do, what I work on, or push me to do things I don’t want to do...(except going to the beach but I always end up loving it.)⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ We share a love for great food, stand up comedians, action, thriller and horror movies, Halloween Horror Nights, family and squeezing every moment out of life. She taught me what it was to be a part of a BIG warm and loving family as I come from a relatively small family and hers is never ending...for real, never ending. Puerto Ricans and Guyanese run deep ya’ll!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ We’ve traveled the globe and checked places off of our travel bucket list. She’s introduced me to Puerto Rican culture, her family and best friends, who happen to be salt of the earth human beings. She’s never stopped smiling or supporting and encouraging me to get to that next level in life or in my career. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Because she’s also a lawyer, I’ve learned how to play one in my work life, when I need to.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Aside from our individual work travels, we have not been apart since she took me to see Kanye West which we also share a love for and I’m excited for our future and all that's in store for us. I could go on and on but Im going to stop before I get sappy. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ I Love You with all my heart Ty! Happy Valentines Day!
