Black Breastfeeding Week was established in 2012 by Kimberly Seals Allers, Kiddada Green, and Anayah Sangodele-Ayoka to bring attention to the racial disparities in breastfeeding rates. One of the ways that the @capitalregionbabycafes team @stpetershealthpartners keeps parents engaged is through the “Let Down Low Down" podcast, designed to be an informal method of distributing relevant breastfeeding/chest feeding information.
