Stay safe, California. A bomb cyclone has devastated the California coast, washing away roads, damaging homes, and crushing important coastal infrastructure. This week, about 90% of California’s population was under a severe flood watch. Extreme weather events, such as the atmospheric rivers that are currently plaguing California, have become more frequent and more intense as our climate changes.
