“The fire within you” 🔥 

There is an image that I find very profound from an ancient Egyptian book, where Anubis and Matt have a deceased persons heart weighted against the feather of truth. 

 I did not want to recreate that exact scene, so I went with fire on the scales representing a source of power coming from within a strong woman. We all have a powerful fire inside of us that we should learn to use with virtue, to stand for justice and the good of the world.

There are many personifications of “Justice” in mythology, probably the best know is Themis or Dike, from ancient Greece. But we can find goddess of justice in many other cultures: Matt in ancient Egypt, Nanshe in Sumerian mythology, Ala in Odinani.

I took a bit of inspiration from each ancient culture’s mythologies when playing around with this piece.
