I lost myself for a minute there. A few years slipped by, and then a few more. I hadn't left the country since 2019, I forgot I could stand somewhere foreign and good and beautiful and different and see everything, on a new street corner of my mind, and wipe my glasses clean, my vision a bit clearer. And so I went to Copenhagen Fashion Week, all laid out for me in perfect songs and clothes and laughs and cardamom buns orchestrated by @hoybot, and we danced and I made new friends and tried to pronounce street names and I remembered, slowly and then all of a sudden, that girl from Before. I am endlessly grateful.
