As many of you know, Soul & Smoke’s greatest honor has been being a partner of @wckitchen for the last three years, sending out over 300,000 meals into Evanston and Chicago, since the beginning of the pandemic. We’ve been part of several activations including #chefsforamerica, #chefsforthepolls and most recently #chefsforhighlandpark. Not only has @wckitchen done so much to support us and our team when events were canceled, but they truly show up at the drop of a hat. They are currently stationed around the world and their most recent activation is happening in Puerto Rico as they deal with the devastation caused by Hurricane Fiona. The Chicago chef community is like no other. We have come together twice now, first to help wck feed Ukraine and last week for Tigray. Tonight, we cook to benefit Puerto Rico. All proceeds will be donated to world central kitchen to help them on their life saving mission. Food is community. Food is hope. Food is Love.
