• Social Distancing • Using my Vespa, I rode around New York to ask friends/fellow freelancers/artist if I can take their portrait from a sidewalk using a telephoto lens. And to share their stories during this uncertain times. ——————————————————————————— “At first I welcomed a break from the hectic fashion cycle; being able to fully rest gave me an unexpected respite from what is normally such a go go go city. As time went on, I was faced with the difficult realization that I had to let some of our staff go. It was a full day of some very difficult conversations that left me disheartened. I’ve definitely had a lot of ups and downs during the quarantine, but I have to say the most memorable thing has been re-connecting with my spouse. We’ve fallen in love all over again. You’d think spending every second of the day with someone would be horrific, so it’s come as a surprise. There are moments where I start shaking with anxiety because of the insane amount of death around us, and then there are other times where we have spontaneous ridiculously goofy dances. Right now, I’m spending a lot of time making masks to donate to people.
