not gon deny that I just woke up, my lips are chapped and a haircut long overdue..but I still felt compelled to tell you to get out and #vote It is true that in broad strokes, many of the ancient dynamics of society have persisted far too long: the wealth gap, war, crime, education, the starvation of the people both physically and spiritually. But scaled over decades of time- our seemingly minor contribution to politics makes a huge difference. Racial equality, womens rights, policy on gender and sexual orientation, accountability of the powerful have made LEAPS. We are actively seeing old guard structures slowly breaking down. So what I’m saying is DONT GIVE UP. The world is becoming a better place and it was never about our lifetime. Lastly, I’m aware that we can not expect politics to save us. We must educate each other on the things where government has typically failed us: critical thinking, proper nutrition, justice, knowledge of wealth, empathy, and community building. That’s it!
