This will be one for the books since for the very first time during @milanfashionweek , a LIVE fashion show featuring the largest number ever of representatives from Black Made in Italy on the same catwalk will take place. Ah, there are so many looks to share with you, so many truths to tell. And while some will blow your mind, there is no doubt others will touch your soul and dazzle your eyes. Many will leave you with the awareness that there's still so much work to be done to improve diversity and inclusion in Italian fashion. We'll tell you a story of active social awareness, that has now elevated to a system. And since we're going to tell a true story, why not tell the whole story? You'll hear about the achievements and the pitfalls, the attempts to stop this movement. But this movement will not be stopped, and our first exciting collaboration with the first major Italian brand to offer both their name and support to WAMI and the cultural paradigm shift we're constructing will soon be revealed. @wearemadeinitaly is currently the largest and sole incubator comprised of multicultural Made in Italy, with all designers hailing from migratory backgrounds representing and working toward the substantial multicultural transition of the Italian fashion sector with an acute focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. #multiculturalismisirreversible For the record:Exactly two years ago, @stellajean_sj took a firm stance and said she would not return to Milan Fashion Week until she was no longer the only Black Made in Italy designer on the MFW official schedule.
