Our favorite tip for holiday shopping and getting out and about! In our home, listening to our children’s wishes is important, while also holding firm boundaries. Our children know we won’t be able to get everything on their Christmas list. In the store, I take pictures of things that A likes to consider for gifting or otherwise. We sit down together and she likes to look at the pictures of things we’ve seen. This way, she feels her voice is heard and her opinion is respected, regardless of whether we get the item or not.
