it has been a year since my debut album ‘Skin’. I am so proud of this body of work. Since the day it was mastered, before anyone else had heard it, I felt I had overcome so many obstacles, fears, no-people, judgement and hurt by making the record. I always, always wanted to be an artist that made albums. It’s frustrating and scary but I can’t begin to tell you how much making it healed me. Then you lot walked in. Sold out shows across the world, television, radio, nominations, awards but my favourite thing of all was the connection. Knowing that all these tiny stories in my life meant something in yours.
