Our new Renewables print showcases different examples of deities and gods that utilise the natural elements. We designed this print with the purpose of encouraging the switch to renewable energy, one of the most sustainable changes we can make right now. Demand for natural resources is at an all-time high and continues to grow - for food, clothing, water, housing, infrastructure and other aspects of life. The International Energy Agency (IEA) expects that worldwide energy consumption in 2040 will have increased more than a quarter and that the goal, set in the Paris Agreement to limit climate change, will not nearly be reached. According to the IEA, overall renewable energy use increased by 3% in 2020, making 29% of the world’s energy renewable in 2021. We have the technology there to run on 100% renewable sources of energy, it just needs the investment and world leaders to commit to this together.
