By the end of the year I’ll reach 30 marking a significant milestone. 5 years ago I had a deep yearning to pursue something other than engineering. 3 years ago I quit a job to learn and pursue a life in an industry where I knew nothing and no one. Needless to say it has been incredibly difficult. So THANK YOU to everyone I’ve met and taught me so much. To my friends who modelled for me in the early days. Thank you. To the photographers I’ve assisted thank you. My skills in the last two years has grown immensely. I’m very grateful to all opportunities I’ve experienced. Networking and putting yourself out there is everything in this industry. I’m not there but I’m learning and I’ve learnt from the best and the up and coming. But I can’t keep living off the govt. or dipping into my savings. Anyways I’m putting forth to the world my intentions to be a fashion photographer and not a struggling artist. Killing tat imposter syndrome. To pursue a path you never knew existed in your life is exciting and scary. It’s been a tough few years.
