So proud of these guys right here. We were asked to participate in the Motortrend RoadKill Nights powered by Dodge event again this year. We learned a lot last year by getting our butts kicked and wanted to build a more prepared car for this years event. We discussed the idea of buying a “retired” but sorted drag racing chassis with the hopes of finding the top step on the podium. After lotsa debate we decided to build a much cooler car and something we could bring back to San Diego and enjoy after the event. None of us are “drag racers” by nature and a purpose built drag car would’ve served us no use afterwards. So, that said, we chose a Dodge Viper, threw everything we’ve learned at it, brought on some of our favorite partners and showed up with a REALLY COOL knife to a gun fight. We were ok with that! Placing second overall was a massive accomplishment for this group and I am incredibly proud of each person for different reasons. Everyone had a job role and everyone quietly went about their business and handled it like pros. Proud dad moment for me! I’m honored to be working with these guys and it just goes to show with a lot of skill and a wee bit of luck, a positive result will likely happen. Would we have liked to win? Sure. But this result was a WIN to us. And, to all the Viper owners who said we screwed up a perfectly good Viper by using a 800hp V8 as opposed to the boat anchor V10, I hope you see know why we did what we did and hopefully we represented the Viper community properly. 🐍 #throtl #Dodge #roadkillnights #viper #hellcat #directcinnection #TheMongoose #themongooseisloose
